Which one? I replaced my drivers side front unit a few months back. I had picked up a brand new unit on eBay a few years back for $5 because the price was right and it has been sitting gathering dust since then. Boy was I glad I had it on hand when I needed it.

As for the DIY, you pretty much need to follow to same steps as changing the window regulator in order to gain access to the unit.
