06SapphireX5 is on a distinguished road
Here are the December Lease Rates for the new X5.

2007 BMW X5 4dr Wagon 3.0si / Compare Instant Lease Quotes

24 mo/15k mi – Residual Value 69% of MSRP – .00322 Base Money Factor Rate
36 mo/15k mi – Residual Value 58% of MSRP – .00322 Base Money Factor Rate
48 mo/15k mi – Residual Value 41% of MSRP – .00322 Base Money Factor Rate
60 mo/15k mi – Residual Value 33% of MSRP – .00322 Base Money Factor Rate

2007 BMW X5 4dr Wagon 4.8i / Compare Instant Lease Quotes

24 mo/15k mi – Residual Value 64% of MSRP – .00322 Base Money Factor Rate
36 mo/15k mi – Residual Value 53% of MSRP – .00322 Base Money Factor Rate
48 mo/15k mi – Residual Value 37% of MSRP – .00322 Base Money Factor Rate
60 mo/15k mi – Residual Value 30% of MSRP – .00322 Base Money Factor Rate

With these rates on an X5 3.0si with Prem, Cold Weather, Rear Clim, Tech Pkg and Sat Radio, MSRP $55340 and no discount, I get 36m/15k yr at $927w/o tax and 24m/15k yr at $1015.

I have an 06 3.0 with PP, CW, RC, Auto, Heated rear, heated wheel that is only $660/mo w/7.5% tax. I would have a hard time swallowing that kind of lease pmt difference to step into a new one.

Without a single option, it is still in the $780 range w/o tax.
