No Way! It is absolutely impossible on a 4.7 Gb DVD disk. The UK postcode database to 7 characters would use approx 1.1 Gb of disk space on the DVD. This is quite plainly why the "expert" (?) Dutch programmers at Navteq BV do what they do & give the best that they can, given the physical limitations of a single sided DVD
.... You will never see anything better than a 5 digit postcode entry on a European Navteq DVD.
It can be done very easily but you would end up with having to buy a dedicated UK Map disk - & a separate European Mainland disk.
