Thats a coolant leek! Have you located where the leek is? I have seen a few X's and e39's with this problem, the coolent leeked from the actual cap as the rubber 0 Ring inside the cap was done. Thats an easy fix if its the 0 ring. If not you will need to find where the coolent is coming from? It looks like in the pic that something is not secure or burt? Is there coolent on the underside of the hood?
