My current arsenal consists of an Alienware Sentia, a Macbook pro (my lmost recent acquisition), and a Dell XPS. Of the three, the Dell has been the best thus far as far as gaming is concerned. At least, that's what I've been told. I'm not much of a gamer, but I have freeloading friends who are! If you get an Alienware, beware, as the motherboards tend to crap out after the warranty expires (how convenient!). If you plan on doing not only email, but graphics, photo and video manuipulation etc., then I think a Mac is your best bet. Please note, this is all just my opinion!
