Anyone see the shuttle launch tonight?
I don't know if you all knew, but tonight was the first night-time space shuttle launch in 4 years. It flew right up the Atlantic coast. My house is on top of a huge hill, and my room faces south. On a clear night you can just see the tops of the two tallest buildings in Boston. My whole family came into my room and we turned off the lights and we had the TV on with the pictures and info of the launch. About three and a half minutes after it took off, we saw an orange glow out in the southern sky.. it was the shuttle! We knew it wasn't a plane, because it was a steady orange, and it was moving in the right direction. It was a very, very cool experience!
