I'm really sorry to hear about your job situation. I've been in your shoes and it's very frustrating and can be somewhat scary. However, I think in the end you'll be better off without 'em. Such a shame that those guys can cut the string with just a snap of the fingers, especially after being there such a long time.

In this type of a situation does the company offer you any help in finding another position internally or outside the company?
