Well, not Even in competition w/DrFred's magnificent pics from the land of phony, bulging bank accounts and a "peaceful" view of the WorldPolitic...
Jes' a few shots of ol'Luna in her full tilt boogie stage that happens every 28ish days: first pic is actually from a month ago and I grabbed this lucky shot on Very long exp. as the full moon rose directly over The Cold Mtn, and wonderful Waynesville below, all lit up.
The next two are from this week, as the moon was in full stage on 6-21, the foistdayofsummer, coincidentally.
Both shots are v.long exposures, thus some weird color stuff going on, though I thought digi did not do that color thang like film emulsion and reciprocity failure does to filmfilm.
NEway, not in the same league w/those Alpine shots of Fred's, but I'm outtahere for the weekend seeing DaKidz and GrndDaughter in CH, NJoisey...so, I won't get to bore ya'll w/pics during the weekend.

Edit: for the astronomically curious or jes'plain weird agoraphobes, Please Note that the Full Moon Rising from May, (first pic), to June, (2&3 pics), that ol'orb has "slud" slightly and rises on the horizon a few degrees further south, from May to June. JCL can 'splain this all for the 1 or 2 of you, besides us, that actually care.
