That first one, the road to Yakutsk, looks only slightly worse than my road in spring/winter. The sad part is, it's true. Our road almost completely washes out once a month. In the spring when the snow melts, it's so muddy that you can barely drive on it. I'm talking 4+ inch deep mud..
