I am in real estate; i'm not a broker by the way I manage properties...the numbers speak for themselves, a cheaper home paying higher taxes ends up being more expensive than a more expensive home with cheaper taxes. a $600K home in NYC ends up being less expensive than a $400K home in NJ due to higher property taxes, taxes are not negotiable and have to be paid forever...come on man it's what I do for a living it's not that I am a New Yorker it's that 1+1=2. you just bought in NJ? i'll bet you want to come back to NY in a couple years, it happens to everyone who leaves the NYC for the swamp state.
