The 6 disc changer mounts behind the glove box so that the face of the changer is flush with the back of the glove box. You will need to remove some stuff in the glove box to change the cartridge, but the capacity of the glove box is not changed.

I did not purchase the cd changer as the premium sound system is quite expensive and the stock system sounds better than most vehicles out there. I believe you can purchase the 6 cd changer seperately for about 500 bucks.
