Usually the tech drives it out of the service bay area, where some other guy that looks like he just got his license washes it for you then drives it out front so you can then spend 10 minutes looking for curb rash and dings on your bumper
at least that's how it works at my stealer ... don't even get me started on the curb rash I found on my 87s once ...
