That's what I thought it would be; the CPO cert date should
have no bearing on a car that sits, "ownerless" and is then purchased.

Actually, they said the car is CPO'd from the Original retail date of 1/15/03, so it will be in the CPO for whatever is first...72 months or 100,000 miles. 72 months is 1/15/09.
