Brand New BMW X5 3.0d Futura, Italy

Hi, I picked up my new BMW X5 22 / 12 / 2006. Had the Sat/nav programed so it has English and not Italian also the Key reprogrammed.
Very happy with the car until this morning when I find that the front indicator bulb has gone. I call the garage and the tell me I have to make a appointment because it's not just a case of changing a lamp, they have got to remove the front bumper to get at the lamp to change it, + or - 1.5 hrs work. Somebody tell me this is not true 19 bolts and screws and remove the front bumper to change a lamp??????? I've always been of the opinion that if it has to be taken apart it never goes back the same
way, never quite fits as well, all this on a 7 day old top of the range BMW X5. No wonder EUROPE is in the S--T. Never had this problem with my Lexus RX300
