If you are leasing it and don't plan to keep it post-lease then I would just go with the oil service changes provided under BMW's free maintenance. If you bought it or plan to buy it after the lease is up then it may be advisable to do a change in between the ones provided by BMW. This would give you fresh oil about every 7500 miles.

Be sure to change the filter too!!
