While I didn't do the installating on my X5, I know what a pain in the ass it was to have the shop I chose, do it. End result: The hole (also) had to be hacked, the natural angle of the camera points too far down to the ground and you cannot see enough of what's behind you...Two months into the install, the camera itself failed. Now, I shift it into reverse and the nav screen just goes blank. No image. The BMW kit is a piece of shit. What a total disappointment per the cost of the kit (about $700).
