You kicked your nav computer into "Euro Mode." This is actually the preferred mode of operation for most folks who own MKIII and MKIV nav computers. These are some of the other benefits of being in Euro Mode:
- You get rid of the accept screen (big benefit)
- Short distances will be in yards instead of feet (benefit to those who relate better to football field distances)
- You lose the Emergency function on the main menu (slight loss, but it is available elsewhere)
- You get the Route Magnet feature (kind of cool for setting way-points)
- You lose the vehicle ID (VIN, model, etc.) information stored in the computer (I have no idea if this even matters)
