Correct. However this is speaking about the maximum time all driving conditions considered. The manual is not the service warranty book where your service history is recorded and therefore would not be what the dealership would use as a guideline.

Perhaps. But since mine says one year then that's what we go by. Other folks service warranty books may read the same if it does then they can use the information to encourage the dealer to perform the work in accordance with what the Mfg ask.

Sometime we the people just got to edge-u-ma-cate these less seasoned advisors. We train they perform. We are all happy happy BMW drivers.
