Mick, sounds like a good deal, but this turntable is a belt drive set up, which is not as good as direct drive in my opinion. If you're going to simply play 33's or 45's this'll do nicely. I don't think it has pitch control or that it'll play 78's.
It should sound pretty good with a decent stylus and the ease of operation makes it very hard to scratch your new vinyl collection.
