No Xpert, but my guess is it would need new batt, new tires, those cylinder walls and piston skirts are "bone dry" and the rings are hundreds of miles from seating fully. The 14 miles might be believeable...the "why" is the bigger question.
That motor is not gonna be "happy" for the first couple of mins upon firing up.
