Bought the X5 about 2 months ago from a dealer in NYC. Traded in an 04 MB in the process.

Up to now, I am receiving phone calls from MB Credit that they have not gotten payment from dealer and that we are on the hook. I called the dealer and they say they've sent the payment. I'm getting worried about this.

I don't want to file any sort of legal claim due to the length of time it may take. In fact, I'm leaning on filing a stolen car claim just to light a fire under them.

Also, while looking over the contract, they charged me $285 for the registration and title. I don't mind since I really got the vehicle for about $6k under normal book value but of course it is still money.
