You must have missed my post. I said that there is no article for the 2000 4.4, and the drain plug was located in what was called the other trap door, which was labled as trap door number 1. You do know that the picture was from that link, right?.

So for future reference, there is no DIY for 2000 (obviously) 4.4 x5. The oil drain plug is located in the trap door #1 show for the 3.0.
