I did not have that engine noise with the IceLink Plus and that noise is not present if I switch to regular FM station or put my CD Changer back on.

My whoos are coming through the speakers, so is the high-pitched sound. When I mute the system, there's no more noise. When the volume is up to a normal listening level, you can hear the whoos again.
