It's a crime that a college athlete doesn't get more than a scholarship or a small stipend. Universities make millions of dollars from NCAA sports and coaches' salaries are out of control.

Nick Saban, who had a losing record as head coach of the Dolphins is being paid three times more annually to coach Alabama's football team than Lovie Smith gets paid to coach the SuperBowl-bound Bears. Tha'ts f*#ked up.

NCAA athletes are on to the money game and they're pissed about it. That being said, it's still against the rules to do what's alleged in the article Wagner linked here, but I hope this moves the debate over whether NCAA athletes deserve more than they're getting at present into the limelight.
