Sure, there are lots of them. But what constitutes proof?
I'm pretty sure you would want the following proof:
1) Either the guilty parties confess
or
2) Government files proving guilt
Since FOIA does not allow for the releasing of classified files until many years afterwards, so unless the guilty parties confess (rather unlikely), you will not be satisfied.
For example, the above 3 conspiracies I listed did not become truely accepted until many years after they occured. Even 20 years ago most people did not accept that LBJ lied about the Gulf of Tonkin even though the "Pentagon Papers" had proved this. It was not until actual audio recordings of LBJ in the White House were released several years ago that most people were finally convinced. And with the USS Maine, it wasn't until the 1970s that the government finally admitted that the Spanish were not responsible, 75 years after it happened.
But I ask you this: Why do all these large corporations spend millions of dollars giving campaign contributions to political candidates on both sides, and why do they also spend millions on lobbying? Are they just stupid, or could it be that these investments pay dividends?
