Kev - did you buy a pair of theater recliner seats from Costco to go with the new TV? You're not going to go wrong with the Mitsu which typically are renders excellent colors and contrast.

I was going to buy a 65" Mitsu DLP 1080p in December until I saw a Sharp Aquos 52" LCD 1080p flatscreen which produces an awesome picture, especially from a blue-ray box. It was going for $4200 back in November. It's now $3700. I'm guessing that it will be under $3000 by the summer. I'm in no rush because of all of the Blue-Ray issues that still currently exist. They're too expensive and too problematic.

But while I'm waiting, there is supposed to be a 57" Sharp LCD panel coming out this summer.
