applicat is on a distinguished road
Thanks friends for your welcome...

Actually I spent more than 20 minutes in giving more detailed description in how we decided to get X3... ...but unfortunately I
accidentally hit the "back" button and whole post have gone...

I'll continue with shorter post (comparing to one deleted)...

• I Will prepare some pictures as soon as I have enough time to look at the car in more details (during the week).

For some of you who might be interested:

• X3 3.0SD is titanium silver
• What's the standard eq. on X3 3.0SD here in Serbia differs to what's the standard for the same car in Europe. I learned that that's the
case for all countries out of Europe, UK and USA... In UK there is different X3 classification in Sport, Se.....
• The car came with 8 airbags, automatic gearbox, and 205 Double Spoke 205 wheels... and other which is standard and part of every
X3...
• Additional equipment actually was what's already available on the (already) pre ordered and available car... we didn't pre ordered the
car - we took what was available... We basically got all we needed except the color which was not our favorite (we liked Highland
Green...)
• Additional equipment: Titanium Silver Metallic, Nevada Black Sits/Interior, Leader Steering wheel with multifunctional commands,
Aluminum entry, Roof Liners, Front Seats heating, Headlight Washers, Rain Sensor, Parking Distance, Climatization Automatic,
Xenon, Servotronic Steering and Radio BMW Business CD.

PRICE RRP was 59.000 EUR and we got some significant discount since the car had production date - december 2006. and company
owner liked my wife's style of driving... Actually we got the car for the same price as RRP for 3.0 D with the same optional
equipment...

Full risk free insurance was 5.000 EUR for first 12 months. Insurance company installed GPS - GPRS tracking and we installed
gearbox locking device (lever) and additional immobilizer... Also dealer disabled some kind of pin in entry hand lever...

So far - no complains no remarks.
The car is amazing and the car is a beast - Porche in SUV body. Company owner - actually distributor for BMW, (also drives X3) -
stated that what we are experiencing now is a nothing to what the car will be after a few KMiles.... He mentioned that we can do
anything with the car and RPM and Speed on a short run...

As I already mentioned manual states 2500 RPM and 150 Km/h for the first 2.000 km for a diesel.

I was a bit disappointed that RADIO CD is not presenting titles when playing mp3 from CD, but I guess I'll have to check if ID Tags
were implemented in ITunes.... I am also disappointed that they didn't make full compatibility with IPod and that you have to tweak for
wheels buttons and connections...

Sound is o.k. with mp3... so I expect that it will be satisfying with original CD's... Will check for some speakers upgrade in future and
I expect that Forum will be of assistance...

Also I have plans to get some Navigation in future. I found out that there is a number of some hi-tech new products presented on
WCES. Some of them can do GPS NAV, Hands Free, Blue Tooth, Video, Back camera connection, mp3 and you can even use them as
a backup for digital camera SD and CFX cards - which is something I need since I am serious with photography (Nikon D200.....)
The same unit U can use as kids video player or for picture checking on a vacation... If some of you might be interested I'll post the link
for that units... Also there will be a number of units in future with support for IEEE 801.xx so you can remotely drive back-sit's kid's
LCD if it is with IEEE 801.

For the first run I'll install IPod video and will get some back seat LCD with video Input for my daughter (just for trips)...

That's for the moment...

This forum gave me significant assistance in my purchasing decision and learning more... I am visiting the forum starting from the Jun
last year....

And for the end - a small curiosity - I am not driving, I don't have driving license and I don't have interest to drive... Probably that fact
USA part of the board will never understand... since I don't have any medical or other kind of limitations... But I like cars, especially
the cars with hi level of technology implemented and that's for sure the BMW cars are...

THANKS FOR YOUR WELCOME...

Alex
