Well, I guess I'm one of those "couple thousand" I'll wait.

OLED and something called SED technology will be showing up in the not to far future. SED sometime this year. I don't know too much about it right now but that SED tech is supposed to be as good as the CRT but with HD resolution on a flat screen with faster response times and better contrast/color reproduction.

All of this HD stuff is just starting to kick off and manufacturers are just beginning to really get up to speed. I'm waiting for more available HD channels and better fast action display.
