I don't think all bmw dealers got the memo. I know they have changed front pads without NEW rotors on my x5 while it was under free maintenance. they probably pocketed the difference.

I'm saving some serious $ doing my own brake jobs so why not buy new rotors? no hassles, no guessing, no worries.
