Regardless of the reason, we are doing the same thing they did in terms of stretching our military thin. We currently have military bases in over 130 countries. We are only 5% of the world's population. If the rest of the world gets pissed off, it does not matter how hi-tech our military is. We can't even seem to win the war in puny countries like Iraq and Afghanistan. Forget about it if a few normal size countries decided to take us on. |
WTF, we don't "win" in Iraq because they aren't a direct threat. We have more military capability then any country and could easily dispatch of any enemy, no matter how many, if the US was really threatened.
