1. Do you think the BMW Mobility Kit would have helped you in this situation?
I have no idea about this kit... If you have a link plz give it to me

2. Why did't you use BMW Assist?
It is not available in Saudi Arabia

3. You mentioned using 2 rocks to block the wheels. Didn't your X5 come with 2 wheel chocks?
I got my car used. I did not see these chocks you are talking about. Do you hava their pic and part number?

4. Since your car is on 19"'s and the spare was a 17", how did it ride?
I did not feel any difference. I only drove few kilometers and inside the city.

5. A 19" temp spare might have been easier to wrestle than a 17" full size spare (though the dirty 19" would still be a huge pain). That is what I am going to do with my car.
6. Consider adding a few things to your car emergency kit. I've added
the following after learning the hard way many times.
- Rubber/latex gloves (2 pairs)
- Cloth gloves (wear the latex underneath the cloth and you'll keep
your hands dry, clean and relatively injury free)
- Poncho (to keep clean) or lab coat
- Purell hand cleaner
- The BMW Emergency Tire Tote (see attached). I think you can also
get it from Tire Rack.
Thanks a lot for your valuable advices..
