I was an old Ford concept car from the 50's if I remember right. George Barris who owned a custom shop in Hollywood bought it from Ford and redid the front and rear, but it retains much of the appearance from the original showcar. Barris also did the Munster Mobile, but he really built his reputation in the 50's and 60's building Model T buckets. My uncle owned a body shop in downtown LA and knew Barris from various car show and trade events.
