The resonance you are speaking of is fairly common with our xh108 subwoofer system. When you open the gas tank door, there are 2 plastic pieces that act as 'stops' (for lack of a better term). Those plastic pieces are what is creating your noise. You can simply remove these, and use something such as rubber cement, a tiny bit of RTV sealant, etc., then put them right back in. This will hold those plastic parts in place so that you can enjoy your music without letting the kids on the street realize you have all that bass!!!
