I thought there are manufacturers who make the LEDs for the 3 and the 5? How difficult would it be for them to make the molds for the X? Is this rocket science? At $600 per set are you telling me that a manufacturer couldn't make a profit cutting these out for gross sales of between $80k to $200k?
