Has anyone any experience with having the X5 remapped or chipped to achieve more power and torque.
I have a 2001 3.0d sport in the UK the power is retarded to 184bhp with 410Nm of torque.
The standard ECU can be re-mapped to achieve the power which the X5 was originally meant to have when designed in Germany. This will take the power to 217bhp with 500Nm of torque.
Has anyone had this done and does it improve the fuel consumption.
I cant decide whether to do it or not.
Thoughts anyone?
