Yes, finally had a chance the emission test. Basically since the X5 is an AWD, they couldn't use the "roller test" and only have to do the two-speed RPM test (test the emissions at 2250-2700 rpm and idle which is between 400-1000 rpms). Then visual insepction and gas cap.
Only took 10 minutes and the X5 passed with flying color. The 3.0i definitely is a ULEV...the HC and CO emissions are very, very low compared with the average and MAX allowable.
