it's a scam, don't fall for it.
I recently sold a 1998 acura integra and it was posted in our local auto trader. within 2 days i received a call from a company called canadian auto finder. They will draw you in with promises of getting exactly what you're asking price is or more, for a $150 cnd fee.
The short story...i fell for it, gave them my info and what not. They also have a website
www.canadianautofinder.com, which is always down. You will never see your car online, and you will never receive a call from anyone trying to purchase your vehicle from their website. Their caller will even tell you to call him on a direct line and not what you see on their website.
After a few days of no returned calls, they did finally call me back but still empty promises and lies, and my car was never posted on their site.
I immediately called my CC company and charge it back to them.
it's a scam, and unless the company can prove otherwise don't fall for it.
