Sorry to say but it is not going to work based on my, and many other's failed attempts. You need a ULF module in that build date car. I would recommend getting the latest ULF module available as the newer units work much better and support more phones than the older. There are some documents from BMW posted on this forum that DETAIL what newer phones are supported by What newer ULF modules http://www.bimmerboard.com/forums/posts/311138 If you read closely they MAP out the ULF versions with the latests phones. Therefore, it is in your best interest to get the latest ULF modules available.
