The destination charge is a standard charge for transporting the vehicle from its point of origin to the dealer. It costs roughly the same to get the Land Rover to the dealership as the BMW X5. The BMW is quite a bit less costly than the Range Rover Sport as far as MSRP.

Utility
There's no clear winner between the Land Rover and the BMW regarding hauling capacity. Neither the Range Rover Sport nor the BMW X5 has a marked advantage regarding seating capacity. Towing is substantially more the Land Rover Range Rover Sport's forte than it is the X5's.

Comfort
While the front cabin in the BMW X5 offers a bit more head room than the Land Rover Range Rover Sport, there really isn't much of a difference. The ampler interior dimensions of the Land Rover Range Rover Sport make it more spacious for your passengers than the BMW.
