Seriously, it's borderline impossible since the F20 is designed for longitudinal application with a longitudinal gearbox. I don't know if anyone has figured out a transverse application. The K20 engine and gearbox fit well (better than the Toyota lump, so I hear), and the motor responds well to FI, so probably good enough.

As is the car is quick enough, but it's a shame about the 2ZZ. The cam change is pretty harsh, it's gutless below that, and there's not enough headroom above the change-over to keep it in the power (especially on the 2-3) which can be a pain on track. For a long time Honda fan it's definitely a "con."
I was kidding about the F20c swap .

Honestly, I'd much rather have K20 power on the track: power everywhere. There is one famous K20 powered Exige and more than a few K20 Elise's running around out there, I've read about. If you get serious about it at some point, I'm sure you could relatively easily sell your 2ZZ. There are K20-Elise swap kits available.

The K20 in-itself has a LOT of potential NA or FI. Most of the reason is tunability.

Here's an interesting question: between the S2k, Elise and C2, which is the most fun on/off the track? Normally I'd guess Elise, but 2ZZ..
