Congrats, MicKey!!
I think I live in one of the best places in America, and I'm just glad that my town is still a secret. We live in a small (about 5,500 people), lake-front town that is only 10 minutes from Charlotte, NC -- the 26th largest city in America. We have NO crime; the school district is nationally recognized as one of the best in the country; cost of living is very reasonable; housing is affordable (5-bedroom, 3,000 sq. ft. homes for 250K); winters are mild; tennis courts, a swim and beach club, and 27 holes with a new club house; and, did I mention, we live on a lake?
I'm glad that a Joisy town was voted best, too. I am still a Jersey boy despite the fact that I left 10 years ago. I hate the bad rap NJ has. If one exits the interstate, one realizes what a beautiful state NJ is.
