Matt - no, I didn't disconnect the battery. However, I've disconnected it several times over the years (including last fall when I replaced the battery) and haven't had any problems with the vehicle having to relearn settings. This long story was the one issue I did have, but it was more related to jump starting the vehicle versus disconnecting the battery -
