Something went wrong on upgrading your operating system and your navigation module is now locked and not making its presence known to the rest of the system. Thus the TV module has taken over as far as generating and managing the on-screen menu is concerned. The cause this happened could be a faulty upgrade procedure, your system CD having become corrupt during burning or having been burned in a wrong way.
To recover your nav unit you need to correctly re-load the operating system. Input from other members indicates that the modified OS (for NL language) is correct, but I am not sure if this applies only to Mk-IVs and if it was also modified for Mk-IIIs. To play it safe I would suggest you go back to the latest official version, which means V22 or higher, as for a Mk-III these are all the same. There is plenty of posting on the subject in this forum. Follow indications from KiwiJochen here: http://www.xoutpost.com/navigation-system/25435-navcoder-v1-2-has-been-released-7.html
Good luck
