thanks for the info. I was aware of slightly different information but it doesn't matter. I was informed by my local BMW dealer that even prior to 2003 (my X5 is a 2002) the 19" were an option. Not sure but it doesn't matter. The deal is that I have two sets of wheels in my garage and I could use the room.
