Annual Vehicle Ins. Bill...
Got our annual stable full-of-vehicles insurance bill in the other day.
Not boasting or poking, but it does show what lower
premiums you might expect when: have no tix or accidents,
move to a less urban part of the country, and become a
Geezer, etc.
The cars coverage have the usual BI of $500K each occurrence
and $500K per person, PD of $100K each occurrence and the
usual comp, ACU deductible of $500, Towing, etc. Not over
the top but not el cheapo coverage, either.
The Scoots have only BI of $500K per/occurrence & PD of
$100K with no collision or theft.
Cars:
2003 Honda CR-V $366
2002 Vette Vert $378
2001 BMW X5 $396
M'Cycles:
1987 Honda Hurricane 1000
1994 Honda Gold Wing Aspencade
1990 HD SotftTail Heritage
1975 HD Superglide ...all $97 each, except for the
old '75 HD Superglide which currently sits uninsured.
We have our NC Mtn House homeowners ins. and a
$4 Mill umbrella with the same co., which we are told,
gives us a "better deal", fwiw.
So, for you 20, 30, 40 sumpins, there is light at the
end of the tunnel. Ya'll jes' hafta get old to get some
savings.
