by sport, it's meant to mean it's used for activities. like SUV, there's 'sport' but it's not implying it's a sports car.

and it's already a sporty car. what the sport package does is to make it even more sportier of a car. it's mainly used to add more features such as glossy trim, upgraded headliner and such
