My fiance and I are going to be buying a house within the year so... what are the must have items for any new home owner. I'm looking for things to buy before the mortgage payments start rolling in. We will be getting alot of things once we register for the wedding ie; Silverware, china, toaster, iron,etc... But what items should we get on our own. Here's what we bought in the last few weeks.

What else do you guys use alot. I was thinking lawn mower but not sure how much lawn we will have so Maybe a rider or a self-propelled. I guess we will wait on that one. We've been thinking maybe a weed wacker?
