But no sound, however my stock speakers sound hella lot better! lol.. also, keeps blowing the cd changer fuse. What am i doing wrong?

It is a 12 pin connector btw. All pins, except one are being used. Also should add, i have bluetooth installed (aftermarket, bmw oem). Should I be tapping into the front speakers? Or rear should work? from the wires that are tapped ( 5 and 6 or 11 and 12) i joined them to a rca (i cut off one end) then plugged the other end into the hi input rca connectors on the converter, which then goes to the amp...
Where did you get the constant +12v from to feed the sub amp? You have to get it straight from the battery. If you keep blowing your CD changer fuse every time you put your amp on it looks to me that you may be feeding your amp from the same +12v source as the CD changer. That would explain why you do not get any sound out of the sub amp. Once you have that figured out then you can start checking your audio connections. For a 12pins stock amp connector 5/6 (right rear woofer +/-) and 11/12 (left rear woofer +/-) are indeed the right stock amp wires you should tape into to feed your sub amp. If your stock rear woofers are working then these 5/6 and 11/12 pins provide a signal. If they provide a signal and you still do not get any sound out of your sub amp then either your LOC does not work or your Sub amp does not work. What sub amp are you using by the way?
