actually i liek things to make engineering sense: i just want to cut out the plastic and have at least somewhat functional "ducts" ... cuz rihgt now, having "ducts" that are sealed just BOTHERS me -- like nails on a chalkboard -- frmo an engineering perspective.

it's just needlessly increasing drag at no benefit to the brakes.

i'm with you, i don't hugely care about chrome-rimmed intake ducts ... i could take it or leave it, but i want SOME functionality to the brake ducts
