If you just "tap off" for the interface then you can leave it in permanently and saves having to rip the internals of your car out to get to the CD Changer.

I have a TVonNAV cable so have just wired it into that permanently (I need the last used audio feature otherwise woyld ebay it!).

Does it matter if I pick up the CD changer ibus connector in the trunk or in the center console? Id like to leave a "quick link" in the trunk section.

Incidentally, here in US, hookup parts can be had here at your local Fry's, Digikey.com, or even eBay.
